Commissions
Start with inspiration.
Do you have a photo you love?
Do particular images inspire you?
Do you have a blank space on a wall that needs to be filled? A couch that could use a quilt?
We can design and create a beautiful art piece together that brings a smile to your face and fits your needs. Visit the Gallery for inspiration.
For Other Custom Work
Before you know it, your vision will be brought to life.
After we settle on a design plan, I’ll order any materials we need for the project and begin working on your commission. You can expect updates from me as I prepare, create, and finally ship your finished piece to you.
Pricing and Payment Policies
For Photo Tapestries
Photo tapestries have a set price of $300.
They measure 24” x 35” and can be either portrait or landscape. If the photo you want to use is not the best quality, still send it to me and I will see what I can do (at no cost).
Ready to get started? Send me your photo!
I require a 50% down payment with a signed commission contract up front in order to begin work and purchase materials. The remainder of the payment is due upon the delivery of the finished piece.
I will be transparent up front as to how much a commission piece will cost. There is no set pricing because it depends on the materials, the techniques, the size, and the complexity of the design.
Revisions are acceptable (and encouraged!) during the design process. Once materials are ordered, however, and I begin sewing your piece, any additional revisions are liable to an extra fee depending on the significance of the changes. I will clearly communicate and request final approval during this time frame.
There are no refunds or exchanges available for commissions due to the custom nature of the work.
I look forward to working with you! Send me a request here.
Connect with me to begin brainstorming.
Whether we are turning your grandmother’s wedding photo into a beautiful tapestry or designing an embroidered baby quilt from scratch, it all starts with a conversation.
Send me an email with what you are imagining (even if it’s bare bones) and I’ll work with you to create a plan for your commissioned work.
